This store is a great alternative to the big corporate store in town. Family owned, great produce, very good meats section and friendly helpful staff. Only minor negative is occasionally short on staff to run registers, but every business in this town deals with that.

This is my favorite place in BV for hard-to-find gluten free and vegan items. They also have a good selection of fresh produce that tends to last longer once purchased than that from other nearby stores (I eat a lot of fresh veggies, but when I buy elsewhere, I end up with more than I can eat before it goes bad.) I really like how open and inviting the store is, too. I do wish they carried Follow Your Heart salad dressing, especially the blue cheese, but I'm not complaining -- I just buy multiples when I visit family in Denver.

Best grocery store in Colorado. Locally owned and operated. Family run, community oriented. Prices are always competitive. If you have issues simply have a civil conversation and I assure you concerns will be addressed.

You can buy ammo here by vending machine. Be sure to bring your driver license to be scanned.

I love this store, I only come up once in awhile but I always come here over city market. They have a more unique selection and a "home made" food area thats usually really good too

This supermarket is clean and well maintained. The layout is a little odd, but they have everything you need plus more. There's even an ammo vending machine!

This market is simply marvelous. It reminds me of the independent market in Fairplay, (vibe-wise, which is a good thing), and it is at least twice as big. Pricing is competitive, too. I noticed some particular bargains in the meat department, including one that was about 20% lower than the "sale" price at the big chain store down the street. They also had the 10# bags of chicken leg quarters, which I hadn't seen for a while, and for only 99 cents/pound. They frequently have aggressive markdowns on salad "kits" and produce, "in preselected, $1 bags). It's worth getting the LaGree's app, for discounts and free items.

Clearance section: The clearance area is appealing for bargain hunters. It features near-expiry items and end-of-season products at reduced prices; discount shelves are refreshed regularly and deals change often. The clearance corner is an ideal stop for budget-conscious shoppers looking for value without sacrificing choice. Among the staff, a notably friendly man works as cashier. I cannot recall his name. He interacts politely with customers, handles packing and payments efficiently, and his small, warm conversations contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. That approachable service encourages repeat visits and leaves a positive impression. Overall, Buena Vista LaGree's delivers a satisfying experience in both product selection and customer service. With useful clearance deals and a personable cashier, it’s a worthwhile stop for locals and visitors alike.
